The hiking trail does not go over the summit of Koziarz, which is forested, but traverses it on its eastern side along a road leading along the edge of the forest and farmland. As a result, there is a wide panoramic view from the trail.
In 2015, as part of a wider programme of building lookout towers and hiking trails in the Koziar area, new cycling and skiing trails were constructed and marked, and a new lookout tower was built on Koziar. It has fully enclosed stairs and a viewing terrace, so even people with a fear of heights can climb it.
All you have to do is drive from Brzyna under Okrąglica to the end of the asphalt and leave your car there. From there it is about 45 minutes walk with a small climb. The trail is well marked and the views are among the most beautiful in Beskid Sądecki.
